Free doesn’t mean you are “lucky”

One day Ricky got a free ticket to go to amusement park. He was very excited because it was very expensive. Many of his friends couldn’t go there and just dreaming about it. He was overexcited and can’t sleep well in the night. Suddenly his phone rang.

“Hey Ricky, I heard you get a free ticket to the amusement park, is that right?”

“Yeah, Why? Are you jealous?”

“Damn you are so lucky dude, Could I go with you?”

”You are so lucky have friend like me, of course yes.”

In the morning, he was overslept. He panicked because he hadn’t prepared anything. So he rushed into bathroom, took a quick bath, and went to amusement park. There, his friend had already waited him. So they went straight to the locket and gave the ticket to the gatekeeper. They were very impatient to go in. Suddenly the gatekeeper said, “Sorry sir, this ticket is for tomorrow, you can come here again tomorrow."

One day, I went home by bus because my motorcycle broken. It was very crowded and hot. But I managed to get a seat. Unfortunately, there was a scary big old man. He was about 40 years or older. Suddenly, he started to speak.

“How are you?”

I frightened and my lips trembling. But I thought, he might know me but I didn’t remember him properly. So I answered his question without looking him.

“Yeah, I’m fine.”

The man asked again.

“What are you doing now?”

I answered again with bowed head.

“Yeah you know, school stuff.”

Suddenly the old man looked at me and deceived my arm. He said, “I’m sorry girl, I’m not talking to you. I’m talking with my fellow by telephone.”

The Ring

Jono love Jenny. He had been falling in love with Jenny since Senior High. He asked his best friend, Budi how to propose a girl.  So Budi told him about asking her a romantic dinner before propose her. So they went to the jewelry shop and ordered a ring with diamond and Jenny’s name on it. The day that Jono waited come. He called Jenny.

“Jenny, Are you free tonight?”
“Why? Yeah I’m free tonight” said Jenny
“Would you mind go to dinner with me tonight at Pondok Hijau?”
“Ok, How about 8.30 pm?”
“Perfect.”

After they finished eating, Jono started to hold Jenny’s hand and talked a little clumsy.
“Jenny, Would you marry me? I guarantee will make you happy in my entire life”
“I’m sorry Jono, but I can’t. I have already love someone.”
“Who is he? I will look for him.”
“No Jono you can’t. I don’t want you fight him because of me.”
“Who said I want to fight him? I want to sell this ring to him because it’s very expensive you know.”
Jenny still silence for a while.
